OF SIGNIFICANCE
The Alonzo and Louise Barnett House is
significant as an excellent example of the Free Classic Queen Anne Style
of architecture. It was designed by Spokane architect Arthur E.
Saunders and built in the Mountain View Addition in 1903. Barnett
was the owner of the A. A. Barnett Co., which specialized in loans and
real estate investments. The home retains a high degree of
integrity.
