History:2514 W. Boone, ca. 1905

Henry H. Sundahl, a painter, purchased the property in 1899 and in 1904 had this house built. Sundahl eventually sold the property and moved across the street (2515 W Boone). By 1930, Alfred A. Hunter, a tailor for the Eastern Outfitting Co., and his wife Emma had purchased the home. The Hunters owned the home through the 1960s.

Architectural Description:

 

The home retains excellent integrity of materials and craftsmanship and is additionally a good example of a cross-gable/hip roof vernacular style home with Victorian (Queen Anne) influences such as the inset, horseshoe-shaped gable
